What if my venue cannot accommodate an Avvail reservation?
Your Agreement commits you to accommodating Avvail guests. Blackout dates can be added for closures and buyouts.
Even if your restaurant is fully booked, you are still obligated to fulfill Avvail reservations per the terms of your Agreement. This is why we recommend adding seat holds or setting aside inventory in case an Avvail reservation comes through. Always reach out to support@avvail.com in a timely manner to alert us of seating issues and we will do our best to resolve them.
If you cannot accommodate Avvail reservations on a particular day because of a closure, you can add a blackout date to prevent bookings in advance. However, this option is reserved for use on days where the restaurant is closed for a holiday or buyout.
For more information on how to add blackout dates, refer to this support article.
